| Postdoc position at CTP PAS in Warsaw, to study GRBs | Closing date: 2022-06-01

We are looking for a candidate with a PhD and experience in high energy astrophysics. The topic of research involves physics of ultra relativistic jets in gamma ray bursts and their interaction with environment. We are also studying the outflows from accretion disks related to the kilonova phenomenon. The position will be available for initially one year, with a possible extension for the second year, subject to satisfactory performance.

The application should include:
1. The scientific CV, including publication list, participation in research projects and conferences (with the clause "I agree to the processing of my personal data contained in the application documents?)
2. Motivation letter, with a brief description of the Candidate?s scientific interests and future research plans.
3. A copy of the PhD diploma, or statement from the PhD Advisor on the planned date of defense (the PhD should be awarded before the post-doc contract starting date).
4. Applicants should also arrange to have two letters of reference separately sent to the email address given below.

The competition will be settled by 30 July, 2022. Candidates will be informed electronically about the results of the competition. Candidates might be asked to present an on-line seminar talk. In case of no appropriate candidate the selection may remain unresolved. The prospective starting date of the contract is September 2022, but it can be negotiated.
