Recent surveys of exoplanets have revealed an amazing, and yet unexplained diversity. The key to understanding and exploiting this diversity is to study the architectures, dynamics, atmospheres, environments and evolution of these planetary systems. These exoplanets are unique laboratories that hold the potential to transform our understanding of planet formation, physics, and habitability. With the recent advances in the field of exoplanets, including the theory, observation, and instrumentation, we have new opportunities to place the Solar System and the Earth?s ecosystem in a broader context; one of the main goals of modern astrophysics. In this context, this EAS symposia aims at bringing together the European Exoplanet community interested in the field of Exoplanets, in order to review major results, and present new findings and projects. The ultimate goals of this symposia are to: - Foster exchange within the European Exoplanet community; developing the European Exoplanet community. - Bring together the diverse communities (detection and characterization, theory and observations/instrumentations). - Consolidate the EU Exoplanet community around instruments for exoplanets: CHEOPS, JWST, ELT, PLATO and Ariel. - Facilitate communication and integration of junior members within the European Exoplanet community. - Have an open discussion during a lunch session that will be on how best to prepare the EU community for JWST, ELTs and strategies for future instruments to develop a sense of pan-European Exoplanet community and foster discussions and collaborations.
