Abstract Submission

Opening of abstract submission: 15 September 2017
Deadline for abstract submission: 27 November 2017
Sorry, the abstract submission portal is now closed.

Abstracts are to be submitted for a specific Symposium or Special Session. Please refer to the list of sessions and topics listed in the Programme.

All abstracts must be formally submitted in English via the online Abstract Submission System. Please note that abstracts sent by fax or regular mail will not be accepted.

Do not forget to indicate the presenting author for each abstract. The presenting author is expected to attend the meeting and is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.

Please ensure that the e-mail address is typed correctly otherwise you will not be able to receive important messages regarding the status of the abstract. A confirmation email indicating a successful upload will be automatically sent to your email address. If you do not receive it, please contact us.

Abstracts can be saved as draft and modified, but no changes can be made to the abstract after the submission deadline.

Guidelines for abstracts

  1. The abstract must be written in English. The abstract should be brief and concise.
  2. The abstract should not exceed 700 words and cannot contain figures and tables.
  3. The title should be short and informative, with a maximum length of two lines.

For technical questions regarding your abstract submission and for any other queries, please contact the Congress Secretariat at ewass2018 @ kuoni.com.

Reviewing process

Abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific organisers of the various Symposia and Special Sessions. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to re-categorize the abstract.

Abstracts can be accepted either as poster, or as oral presentations. Details on poster format and full presentation guidelines will be included in a notification letter.

Notification regarding the status of your abstact acceptance (oral, poster or rejected) will be sent to the abstract author by mid-January 2018.
