For technical questions regarding your abstract submission and for any other queries, contact the Congress Secretariat at eas2026@kuonitumlare.com

  • Please do not submit the same abstract to several sessions or symposia. The organisers reserve the right to remove one or more such abstracts without further notice.
  • Free abstract submission is restricted to three abstracts regardless of the type of submission (Contributed talk, ePoster, or Invited talk). Additional abstracts require EAS SOC approval and incur a fee of 30 CHF per abstract.

Guidelines:

  1. The abstract must be written in English. The abstract should be brief and concise.
  2. The abstract should not exceed 700 words and cannot contain figures and tables.
  3. The title should be short and informative, with a maximum length of two lines.
  4. The abstract should be at least 100 words long.

Review process

Abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific organisers of the various Symposia and Special/Lunch Sessions. The EAS 2026 SOC reserves the right to re-categorize the abstract.

Based on the evaluation, accepted abstracts will be assigned to one of the following formats:

  • Oral presentation
  • ePoster with flash talk presentation (PSP)
  • ePoster

Notification of acceptance will be sent in mid-April 2026.

Registration Requirements

For each accepted abstract, at least one presenting author must comply with the applicable registration or fee requirement.

Oral presentations

To deliver an Oral presentation, regardless of the delivery format (onsite or remote), presenters must be registered with any of the onsite fees.

Virtual registration or payment of the "Abstract display fee" of 50 CHF does not entitle presenters to deliver an Oral Presentation.

PSP and ePoster presentations

Presenters registered with any onsite fee may deliver their PSP or ePoster without any additional charges.

For those not attending onsite but wishing to have their abstract included in the programme, payment of the "abstract display fee" is required. This fee allows PSP contributions to be presented in pre-recorded format and ePosters to be included in the ePoster gallery.

Oral Presentation or PSP delivery format

  • Plenary Talks: Live, in-person presentations.
  • Symposia: Live presentations, either in person or remotely (live or pre-recorded)
  • Special & Lunch Sessions: Delivered either in person or via a pre-recorded presentation.
  • ePosters

Explore scientific posters in a dynamic, interactive format, accessible online and on screens at the conference. You can browse at your own pace, even before the event begins, making it easy to discover work that interests you without the rush of the onsite days.

Authors can enhance their posters with videos, narrations, or links to additional resources, creating a richer, more engaging experience that reaches a wider audience and helps communicate ideas clearly.

This format combines visual appeal, interactivity, and sustainability, creating a memorable experience for everyone involved.
