RegistrationThe Lausanne 2026 meeting will follow a semi-hybrid format. While all plenaries, symposia, special sessions, and lunch sessions will take place in person at the SwissTech Convention Center, plenary sessions and all symposia will also be accessible remotely via a virtual platform.

All sessions will be held in English. There is no simultaneous translation provided. Registration fee waivers and/or GrantsThe European Astronomical Society (EAS) provides a limited number of registration fee waivers and grants sponsored by our organisational members MERAC Foundation and Springer, and by a Scientific Exchange grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation. They are open to all participants, EAS member or not, and from all over the planet. The fee waivers and/or grants are aimed at colleagues who, for whatever reason, will have difficulty to pay their fee. This can include non-funded or unemployed students or colleagues, or retirees, but also other astronomers, from all countries. Application for registration fee waivers and/or grants is open until March 3, 2026. Payment termsFull prepayment is needed prior to the conference. The final invoice(s) will be issued within a few days after payment has been received. Any cancellations or amendments are to be addressed to the Congress Secretariat: eas2026@kuonitumlare.com.
