The Centre for Advanced Instrumentation (CfAI) at Durham University (UK) is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to contribute to its range of astronomy, space and other instrument programmes. The vacancy has arisen due to the expansion of the Centre?s research and development activities following a number of successful funding awards. The successful candidate will be part of a world-leading instrumentation group with an exceptionally strong track record in astronomical and space instrumentation. This position is full time and fixed term for an initial period of 2 years within the Department of Physics corresponding to Grade 7 (�32,004 - �38,183).
