Volunteer information for EAS2024

The EAS 2024 Hosting Committee is looking for volunteers to help with the local organisation of the event. Volunteers will be granted:

• a fee waiver (see conditions below)
• access to coffee breaks
• access to the welcome reception
• access to the student's social event
• lunch bag on the days working as volunteers

Volunteers are expected to help with different aspects of the organisation for as many hours as they wish. Please take into account that to obtain the fee waiver, volunteers must complete a minimum of 5 shifts (approx. 2.5 days or 5 half days in total during the week) and attend the volunteer training. The volunteer training is mandatory, as part of the volunteer commitment. Candidates will be allocated a minimum of 5 shifts of volunteering - but it would be appreciated to remain available, in case of unforeseen last-minute issues.

Volunteers requirements:

• English speaking
• Feel comfortable with computer and human exchanges
• Be able to attend the volunteer training in person at the conference venue on Sunday 30 June afternoon.
