NAC: Gaia

Aims and scope

The Dutch Astronomers Conference (NAC) is organised yearly to bring together astronomers from all over the Netherlands. This year's edition is held concurrently with EASAM.

This focus session of the NAC aims to inform people on the status of the Gaia mission. Anthony Brown will give a talk:

I will present the Gaia mission, including an update on the ongoing extended mission, and a summary of the contents planned for future Gaia data releases. This is complemented by a few recent highlights from the science harvested from Gaia DR2.
