2023-Mar-15: Added ESO Reflex Helpdesk page.
2023-Mar-08: Abstract submission is closed. We received close to 2200 abstracts, more than last year. The session SOCs will soon start reviewing the abstracts and make their decision to prepare an exciting programme for EAS 2023! Decisions will be sent around mid-April, in advance of the early bird registration fee deadline.
2023-Mar-01: Submission count is well on the way to break the record number of abstracts submitted this year! However, we have received many requests for an extension due to the holiday season, so we are postponing the deadline for abstract submission by one week, to March 8th, 2023. The deadline for waivers/grants stays March 1.
2023-Feb-15: Updated programme page.
2023-Jan-30: Added Registration, Abstract Submission,
Code of conduct, Fee waivers and/or grants, Venue, Travel, Accommodation, Social Events, Sponsorship & ExhibitionGraphics, Volunteer, FAQ pages. Updated the programme page, and gave access to the session pages.

2022-Oct-13: List of organisers (SOC and HC) published.
2022-Oct-5: Call for sessions closed. 84 proposals were submitted and will be evaluated by the SOC.
2022-Jul-19: Website on-line and call for sessions released.
EAS 2023: a hybrid event
The EAS Annual Meeting will be a hybrid event taking place in-person at the ICE Krakow Conference Centre in Poland, with the plenaries and symposia streamed on the virtual platform. While the special and lunch sessions cannot be followed remotely, EAS 2023 now offers about 5 parallel symposia per day to our virtual participants.
The organisers would like to promote the opportunity, once again, to meet people in person, interact with colleagues face-to-face and facilitate networking.
For more details, have a look to the FAQ.
Important information on unsolicited requests for hotels
The EAS strongly recommends booking accommodation for EAS 2023 exclusively through our official partner, Kuoni Tumlare Congress, using the HotelMap booking platform.
We especially urge caution when receiving unsolicited offers to provide hotel rooms or other services, or unsolicited phone calls requesting, e.g.,
to confirm your hotel reservations. We strongly advise you not to engage with any of these other companies, and cannot accept any responsibility for
adverse consequences should you choose to do so. In case of any questions, kindly contact Kuoni Tumlare Congress at eas2023 @ kuonitumlare.com.
Ethics and Anti-harassment statement
The EAS considers its annual meetings to be a privileged occasion for free and frank interchange of scientific ideas, as well as for the nurturing and creation of professional and social contacts. Any abuse of power or inappropriate behaviour has no place at EAS 2023.
On 19 January 2023, EAS Council has adopted the updated EAS Ethics Statement and Guidelines for Good Practice. These will apply during EAS 2023 and all participants are urged to read the document and follow its recommendations.
Furthermore all participants will need to abide to the code of conduct.
