Rationale
The HERA workshops (Wilhelm und Else Heraeus-EAS Early Career Researchers in Astronomy) are a recent initiative started by the European Astronomical Society (EAS) and funded by the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus-Foundation. This workshop series will provide an environment where early career scientists are trained to interact, design research projects, develop a broad perspective and start international collaborations.
