Volunteer information

The EAS 2026 Hosting Committee is looking for volunteers to help with the local organisation of the event. Volunteers will be granted:

  • a registration fee waiver (see conditions below)
  • access to coffee breaks
  • access to the welcome reception
  • access to the student's social event

Volunteers may assist with various aspects of the conference organisation for as many hours as they wish (for example, badge distribution at the registration desk, providing support to speakers in the session rooms, etc).

Please note that, in order to be eligible for the registration fee waiver, volunteers must complete at least 5 shifts, corresponding to approximately 2.5 full days or 5 half-days during the conference week.

Each volunteer will be assigned a minimum of 5 shifts. Availability for additional shifts during the week is highly appreciated in case of last-minute needs.

Volunteers requirements:

  • English speaking
  • Feel comfortable with computers and interacting with people
  • Be available to attend the in-person volunteer training session at the conference venue on Sunday, 28 June (afternoon).

If you are interested to volunteer, please submit your candidacy by completing the volunteer application form before March 29, 2026.
