Organisation
The annual meeting of the EAS, formerly EWASS conference, is organised since 2014 by the EAS in collaboration
with a local Hosting Committee and with the support of a Professional
Conference Organiser and a local Destination Management Company.
The scientific programme is defined by the Scientific Organising
Committee (SOC) based on the proposals received in response to the call
for expressions of interest to organise Symposia and Special Sessions.
A Request for Proposal (RfP) is provided every year
and contains the guidelines to be followed to propose a city and venue as a
future host of the conference.
Grant Request
EAS Grant Allocation
A limited number of grants funded by Springer and the MERAC foundatin are available to facilitate the
participation of astronomers to the EAS annual meeting.
Sorry, there is currently no open call for EAS annual meeting grants.
